I get hard pea sized lumps and water which I must strain to get out but do not get a complete evacuation, followed by lots of gas and pain/swelling/itching around the anus.

When I take Yerba Colon Cleanse (Psyllium and husks) I sometimes, have a "normal BM" as described in your post. The rest of the time it is ribbon the size of my finger with wet clay consistency and something "vaporing" off the BM into the water. If I go without the Yerba for more than a day, its back to painful watery BM.

Constipation drugs do not make any change. I can eat salads for a week or nothing but junk food and it is the same. Drink 10 glasses of water a day or nothing but Coke and it is the same.
