A case of TMI, I think!

First of all, I want to say this forum is a great source of information and I feel I can post my situation without feeling too embarassed.
I do have bowel movements, but for some reason they always feel incomplete as if there's more to come, but it's not happening. When this happens, I don't feel totally "clean", so a number of years ago, I got into the habit of pushing a little tissue up there and pulling it out to ensure I was clean. This had a side effect, however of "forcing" a bowel movement. So basically, I could use this method a few times to clear myself out. I do think I sometimes force matter that's not ready to leave yet, and that leaves me weak for a few hours afterwards. I can't believe I'm sharing this... but there must be a better way! And a way not having to dread going to the bathroom!
I tried Oxypowder and found it very good. Obviously I took about 7 tablets initially and passed what I can only describe as "mud". I do like this as, with an almost fully liquid motion, it feels a lot cleaner than a stool movement. Side effects include a LOT of gurgling as the liquidfying process takes place. What I'm wondering is if I should continue with Oxypowder [dose: 3 tabs daily] or switch to the PB shakes I hear mentioned.
I'm not sure if I have plaque to remove or not, as about 7 years ago I got so worried about my "half motions" that I had an endoscopy. I had to have a totally clear bowel, so I fasted and took a powder substance in water for 24 hours that had me passing clear water the next day.
I did try ColonBlow but that appears to be pysillum and a laxative. Their pysillum has a weird minty taste and is VERY difficult to take. But after a BM, I did notice a piece of what looked like "skin" which could have come from the colon wall. Let me say, their customer service is awful, they won't answer any questions about the product.
Sorry, if this is a bot long winded, but any advice would be appreciated. Oxypowder is good, but is it something that would need to be taken for life?
