The Bentonite needs to be hydrated overnight - it takes that long for it to absorb water. Mix the Bentonite with water, shake it thoroughly, then leave it to thicken for at least twelve hours. then you can take that mixture, and add the psyllium. The amount you are using sounds fine, and I heard that you can use these shakes every day for a period of time - maybe a week or so.
