America was way down on the list of international deaths, east and west, in the name of Islamic religious "cleansing" before 9-11. Islam openly seeks a world-wide Islamic rule. Islam teaches that all infidels must convert--and pay the conversion tax--or die. No appeasement will contravene genocidal Islamic teaching. The children of Hagar were prophesied to be ever warlike, with all men's hands against them. Islam, the Arabic religion of death and cursing, fulfills this.
