Hi!
I recently came across America's own version of Al Jazeera. Well, not really, but it does offer a very unique perspective on world events. The network is called WorldLink TV. It can be accessed on DirecTV channel 375, or DISH Network's channel 9140 (but you must be using the DISH 500 satellite receiver, or you must manually point your DISH 300 receiver at the correct satellite -- the one at 110 degrees West, not 119 degrees West -- and either reboot your receiver unit or remove and reinstall the Smart Card).
This network is most definitely not associated with the military industrial complex. If you have access to either of these satellite networks, check out WorldLink TV. You can visit the web site to determine the program schedule.
