Oh, This Terrible War...
How can we continue to live in this wretched world where evil little men are allowed to control the destinies of the vast majority of us that want nothing more than to hug our neighbors?

It breaks my heart to read awful stuff like this:

U.S. Marines waged fierce firefights with Iraqi forces Tuesday as coalition forces continued pounding enemy forces on their way to Baghdad and reinforcement troops continued to arrive in the Persian Gulf.
See what I mean?

All that these poor, misguided young men have learned is how to hate and destroy beautiful Mother Gaia, robbed of the knowledge of how Universal Love and Harmony will unite us all and, once and for all, unite her children in joyful harmony.

Do they not know that if they would only throw down their means of destruction and reach out to their brothers and sisters on the other side, all would be forgotten and we could all live as One?

It seems to be a long way off:

"The circle is closing" on Saddam Hussein, Defense Secretary Donald Rumsfeld said during a Pentagon news briefing Tuesday.
That poor man. Some of you might want to rise up and force this man to understand the love that connects us all, but I say NO!

We must all keep him in mind when we sit down in our Circle of Friendship and hum our mantras. We must ask that his cold and lonely soul again be admitted to the warmth of Cosmic Unity, so that he may realize how he has been depraved of the greatest gift of all by a cruel and ignorant world, the gift of love.

We must not let him wander through the cold and darkness of his black and white world. NO, I say, let us reach out to our brother Donald with open arms and share this cosmic energy that binds us all together. Let us envelop him with love, flowers and hugs, and surely he will realize that his 'enemy' Saddam is just a figment of his imagination, that Saddam is but a poor member of an oppressed minority, forced into evil by the conspiracies of Bad Things that surround us on every side.

He will see the trusting, brown-eyed little boy that Saddam once was and he'll reach out to him too and they will fall into each others' arms, crying with joy and sorrow that they had been such fools.

Now let's hum together:

"Ummmm-manni-padme-ummmmmm"...

I should have posted this one on April Fools day!
