Reading through all the postings here, to find which fits me, I figured that all of the flushes required olive oil. To get used to olive oil, I have been taking 3-5 tablespoonfuls of it for a week now. On the last spoonful, I drop a few rice vinegar. Now, I have not noticed any stones coming out but I noticed that the gas and the bloating feeling, the "hungry at once" episodes, the acidic mouth was gone. I normally do not have any pains, (but I had 2 painful attacks long ago one required emergency service)I had hives long ago too but never re-occured. So, my stones are not really troublesome except for the gas and the bloating. For this reason, I am really taking my time to do the flush. In the process, I am discovering how wonderful olive oil can be to the body. What confuses me is the fact that grease and oily foods are a no no to gallstone sufferers. I have to give up everything fried ... and yet here I am planning to gulp down olive oil... my roommates have been saying that this does not make sense. I can't explain, except cooked olive oil is different? Anyone with another opinion here? Thanks. ---- esounds
