Here is classic sceme to cure cancer:
1. body detoxication
2. use of poisonous substance to kiil cancer.

Here I have a big stone for modern medicine: no option 1 is offered at all to patients!
And smaller one: highly toxic anticancer drugs ( mostly platinum derivatives ) really bing down body. If the patients are not strong enough - they'll die for sure! And of course - "cancer killed them".

At least people have choice. As for the language in the book - did you ever try to give a lecture to a bunch of rednecks in modern scientific language?

So we have a choice: modern drug wich may cure cancer or kill you or both and traditional herbalists advices on the other side. Both sides have stories to tell, the only advantage of modern medicine - all success stories are well documented.

I don't think money hungry business machine is taking a good care of my health.

I wish you've never had a cancer.
