I would cut down on the drinking, anyway. I do like a bottle of beer and a glass of wine, but I don't do it everyday.

The day of the flush, do not drink wine and just eat bland foods. (oatmeal, baked potato, etc) After 2:0 pm, do not eat or drink anything.
