The choice is up to you, but if it were me, I'd spend some time reading through this site (FAQs especially), and give the flush a try. If the flush(es) help...great. If not, you can always get your GB removed.

I had normal liver enzymes, a normal ultrasound, and even a normal HIDA scan. My symptoms (upper right back pain, heavy feeling in liver and lower right abdominal dull pain) are not really classic symptoms. I would recommend the HIDA scan if you can afford it. It will give you valuable information that you might need.

I'm glad to hear you taking this choice seriously. So many people don't hesitate when the doctor suggests removing an organ. Get as much info as you can, then make the choice. You only get to decide to remove the GB once...
