Everyone has a degree of risk that they're comfortable with.

Ignore normal liver function tests. They test hep, cancer and the like. As far as I know, there is no test for liver congestion due to stones. You can have 3,000 stones in your liver and have a completely normal liver function test. I know that this is true.

Operations cost money and have serious risks. I understand one can also end up with diarrhea for life and have to cart around bile salts like an insulin-dependent diabetic has to cart around insulin. Liver cleanse costs nothing net net. Pay $3.00, skip 1 1/2 meals, it's a wash.

Don't assume the worst with the cleanse just because a few people aren't getting the traction that they hoped for. At least they tried. Many more people succeed. You might want to try Hulda Clark 's cleanse a few times before committing to the expense and risks of an operation.

In the end, do what feels right for you...

Good luck, and let us know how things work out for you either way.
