Wish I had links to them, but unfortunately I don't. rTMS is used to treat Depression by a group of doctors in Canada. There have been some studies done showing it's efficiency and how it is a possible alternative to ECT. It possibly raises serotonin levels.

Another study recently found that bipolars who had recently undergone MRI's had found relief after the MRI. I think they are looking into this in more depth now
