With the lower power units you can get away with breathing some ozone while coming out of the water. I do this myself sometimes. But as you getting higher concentrations of ozone, it becomes too much for the lungs. The standard "acceptible" protocol for inhaling ozone is to put the bubble stone in a cup of olive oil and breath the fumes that come out. You'll find it is much more soothing and gentle on the lungs. I will put a towel over my head to capture the ozone coming from the olive oil.
I've heard you can use other oils as well such as Euclyptous, but I've never tried it before.
If you try this, make sure you use a separate stone for the olive oil (from what you use with the water).
