First off, make sure you get one that is high power enough and stay away from high-profile big names (like SharperImage). They are pretty much useless as far as ozone output goes. Aranizer's and air-zone.com are very good (see aranistic-air.com and air-zone.com). Enaly makes some as well and I know they make decent water ozonators.

If I were you, the first thing I'd do once you get one is put it up in your attic and let it run for a week or so at full level. Then move it down into your apt.
