Hi - this does sound like it could have been a herx. When you drink ozone, it does many things including killing some bad stuff like fungus, bacteria... If your colon is not clean, it can cause the toxins these things expel when dying to be reabsorbed in the body. I could not drink ozone water at all - not even a half cup without getting a flu/cold. I did a Colon Cleanse with Oxypowder which helped me in many ways. It was a really easy cleanse, and the most effective I had tried. I also did the Hulda Clark Liver Flush (see directions on curzone) several times, until there were no more stones (a clogged liver can make the herx worse). Now I can drink the ozone water with no flu or cold or herx symptoms at all.

Also, ramping up slowly is always the best and safest way to go.
