Out of the various ozone protocols, it is suggested that some use
medical grade ozone (without the NoX), while with others, a little
NoX is acceptible. It would seem that any protocol where the ozone
is being injected into water and then the water is put into the body
(via drinking or enema, etc.) then there is not a high enough
concentration of NoX to cause any problems.

However, generally when direct ozone gas is put into the body via
injection and insufflation then a medical grade with no NoX is
considered the only truly safe approach. There seems to be a gray
area in area of transdermal (that is, through the skin via bagging
funneling or sauna).

I think bagging or funneling would probably be acceptible to use a
Katz-like ozonator. But sauna might be a little iffy simply because,
by opening up the pores, huge amounts of ozone can come in through
the skin. I can attest to this having had 4 ozone sauna treatments
(I used an ozonator with ozygen tank, so no NoX). Out of all ozone
treatments I have never had a stronger Herxheimer reaction (healing
crisis) than when I did the ozone sauna.

NoX is generally created from moist ambient air through the ozonator,
so if you want to try this without a medical grade ozonator, you might
pick up one of those Enaly's on ebay that comes with an air dryer. An
even better option would be to find a cheap ozonator that you can use
with an oxygen tank and low flow regulator.

Would I use the Katz in a steam sauna? That's a tough call. I've used
it a couple of times for insufflation when I know better. But that was
merely to experiment and I wouldn't do it in an ongoing basis.
