Oh yes, I have heard of Dr. Bormann and her claims, but I don't believe her. For one thing, she sells ozone machines and does ozone therapy along with Saul Pressman for LOTS of money, and both of them are always constantly making up lies about peroxide.

Ozone actually BECOMES hydrogen peroxide when it comes into contact with water or the blood stream! Even though this is what the Science says, Bormann and Pressman deny it! They claim that ozone is completely different from peroxide. However, the Science overwhelmingly DOES NOT support this! Look it up for yourself!

Keep in mind that they sell ozone machines for thousands of dollars, while peroxide is a enexpensive competitor that is available for pennies a day! I've tried posting some info about peroxide on Pressman's ozone message forum (http://groups.yahoo.com/group/ozonetherapy/), but he filters them out!

Now, why does she say that peroxide can damage your kidney's, yet she gives IV peroxide therapy at her clinic??? Wouldn't IV peroxide also hurt your kidney's? Hmmmm...

In my opinion, she's only against people doing peroxide therapy themselves, because then she doesn't make any money off it! How else can you explain her lies and deceptions? Same thing with Saul Pressman. They BOTH recommend buying their overpriced ozone machines, and then running the ozone through water, and then drinking the "ozonated water". What they don't mention, is that the ozone BECOMES H2O2 (Hydrogen-Peroxid) in the water! The very thing she says should not be ingested! Argghhh!

She says: "The HYDROGEN will scar the stomach and eventually long term ingestion of H202 can cause sclerosis and cancer potentially due to the chronic irritation. I've seen too many ulcers and damaged kidneys clincally in our cancer patients at Europa who've been drinking H202 water per Ed's book or Nathaniel's."

Well first of all, you need to read what she's saying a bit more closely, she's NOT saying that oxygen therapy or even peroxide is harmful but that the "HYDROGEN will scar the stomach". This allows her to reccomend her expensive alternative - ozone. She's blaming the hydrogen! However, H2O2 (Hydrogen-Peroxid) breaks down into nothing but pure water (H2O) and oxygen (O), so it NEVER BECOMES PURE HYDROGEN! Water (H2O) also contains hydrogen, but water doesn't scar the stomach does it?

She says: "The only microbes that H202 can kill is that which it has DIRECT CONTACT with. You can't drink H202 and expect to cure cancer or any other infection that is harbored in an organ like liver, etc. The physics and biochemistry just don't support it. I use it topically and for disinfecting lots of stuff & for tinting my hair ... but never recommend drinking it."

She is right in that H2O2 (Hydrogen-Peroxid) can only kill microbes it has contact with. This is true. But then she claims that peroxide can't kill microbes that are in the liver or other areas because "the physics and biochemistry just don't support it." Well, obviously she's just making this up, since it's well known that peroxide is easily absorbed (anyone using peroxide therapy can attest to this!) Even mainstream doctors and scientists agree to this! She claims it can harm your kidney's, yet how would this happen if it wasn't absorbed? EVERYTHING you swallow first passes through the liver before going into the bloodstream. Therefore her claims that it can't get rid of infections in your liver because "the physics don't support it" is obviously incorrect. She believes in expensive ozone therapy, however most ozone therapies are done using ozone dissolved in water or water vapor, and since ozone is transformed into H2O2 upon contact with water, it is the H2O2 that is actually being absorbed (along with some ozone)!

She says: "The peroxide radical is the active molecule. The hydrogen, is dangerous in excess. Think about it...basic chemistry is that hydrogen solidifys organic materials (i.e. margarine, etc.=transfats & free radical damage). Oxygen liquifies/disassociates the hydrogen bonds. We're full of way too much old hydrogenated junk stored in the adipose tissue...by the way, that is the mechanism of action by which oxygen skin care products are so beneficial to acne...it splits up the hydrogen molecules that are stuck in the skin layers holding in all the crap and excess hormones in teenagers...they probably ingest more garbage hydrogen than any of us from the fast foods they eat daily."

Here she admits that the peroxide is the active part, but that it's the "hydrogen" that is dangerous in excess, but the hydrogen is NOT free hydrogen! It's attached to a water molecule! She's right that hydrogen is used to solidify margarine, but we're talking about the hydrogen in water (H2O = Two molecules of hydrogen + one molecule of oxygen = water)! Not free hydrogen H! H2O2 breaks down into PURE WATER and OXYGEN!

to support her theory that H2O2 can damage kindeys, but the study was done on INDIVIDUAL KIDNEY CELLS in a TEST TUBE, using a VERY LARGE concentration of peroxide WITHOUT any antioxidants! In the human body, we have antioxidants to protect us from this, while microbes don't have very much protection. ALL oxygen therapies work this way, INCLUDING ozone.

You can believe whatever you want, but keep in mind the Dr. Bormann uses BOTH both ozone and IV peroxide in her practice, and I believe she's simply just trying to get people to stop using peroxide at home, since she can't make any money off it.

I've NEVER heard of anyone saying that peroxide has damaged their stomach or kidneys. To the contrary, all I've heard (except from Bormann and Pressman) are good things about it! However, you should do your own research, and come to your own conclusions!

I apologize for the rant, it's just that Bormann and Pressman make me so angry! Arghh!
