I do believe a change in diet would be beneficial but I am having so much GI upset, I can't think of anything else but feeling better.

I did see a surgeon yesterday who reviewed my CT scan and after 4 diverticulis attacks felt that surgery was warrented. He then examined me and did a protology exam and saw ulcers and excess mucous in my rectum and lower sigmoid colon. Now he's concerned I possibly have ulcerative colitis or perhaps C-Diff from all the Antibiotics . He's referred me back to my gastroenterologist.

I just want some relief.
