i don't see my first post showign up here i might ahve timed out...
i was jstu going to say i don't have full skins 8( just osme items i thoug ti coudl smnip you tufts of fur from if youjstu needed soem odd furs tufts 8(
some crafts paces too btw will sell squirrel skins full and or rabbit furs too
but i fyou can use just soem tufts of fur i have beaver/fox/llama/rabbit..
yes i knwo what you mena a bout diff folks reactions..
i agree the means used today to feed vanity is cruel
i also believe that animals used for survival needs etc is right/ esp with my indian high north ern usalower canadian back ground.. furs were the menas of survival.. and fo rme now.. in an unheated house, the old antique stuff i have
helps keep me form freezing esp with my dysfunctionla body temp regualtion form my heat stroke and low blood presure / i am at a greater risk than many for hypothermia.. and anyhow i jstu say thanks tha t i have a hat to keep the warmth form escaping my head th at is sof t and non irritant and cuts drafts etc.
i can't help th eway thign s are mad eor propel sopions..but i am not goign tto throw out old items i ahve that help me survive witner and are part of my heritage also.i think we are each entitled to live life in own own purposes.. forturnely for me i liv ein an area where peopel do hutn for their own food etc. grow their own animals for eating.. even tho i am vegan.. so no one has yet given me any flak i fi go soemwher e with my old hats on..
wah tis funny too is tha tfolks raely see then indian in me until i wear soem items liek that then it kinda glares out i guess uin spit eof ho wincredibly pale i am from all my housbound years..also the high t noth indians were much paler that the western type indaisn or southern cliamte ones. oh well sorry to ramble.
i also belive biblcally if oen wanted to srgue the point that God himslef fashioned clothes fo radam and eve and showed them how to fasion animal skins itno warm clothign for them sleves.. so i jstu say thnkaks fo rwamr clothes and let others deal with theeri own oipions.
