this is starlight, the one who originally wrote the post.....first, let me say, that obviously not ALL sicknesses are caused by your mind or emotions/heart. Of course there are physical problems which are caused by physical situations.....such as what you were saying was happening to you. What Spirit and a lot of us here believe is that, a LOT of sicknesses and physical problems ARE caused by what's in your heart/spirit. (but, again, obviously, not all). By now, even conventional medicine has "caught up" with that understanding as well.....they are finally coming to realize that what's in your heart definatley seeps down into your body in the form of one sickness or another. So, therefore, it's good to do both! Cleanse your body, AND your heart/spirit, right?!!!
