Well - I think you are exactly right. It sounds like her illness and situation is stemming from a malady in her mind/spirit.

Would you say that your sister takes responsibility for her life? Or does she blame others for her predicament?

Bones are symbolic of the very structure of her Life, Self, Path (foot) and ability to Express herself (jaw). That her bones are degenerating suggests that her Structure isn't solid, strong or stable. It sounds to me like she needs to take responsibility for her life and start working on her inner strength and self-esteem. That her spine is degenerating may suggest a lack of strength (spine, backbone - you know?). The spine is our very spiritual core...where the energy runs down to grounding earth and up to the divine.

Is she open to working on herself, I wonder?

Maybe the right book or the right words will fall into her lap now - maybe the time is right now!

I'll send her good, strong energy....
