I was writing about this on another board..and thought some of you might want to see it!....... I still have more to add... but so far this is it...... basically it is about the assemblage point and how the different ways it moves and the stations it sits in, and how that determines our reality...
****************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************
Your question is great and I have been studying the assemblage point(among other things) for 2-3 years now at a school called Red Lodge. It is a branch of teaching from a man named SwiftDeer, who is a fellow shaman of Lynns. My understanding is a little different from what AnMaRa posted..but along the same lines.

I dont have time to get into all of it right now..but later tonight I will post the rest..or maybe in the A.M.....

The school of thought I am posting from is called the Sweet medicine Sundance Path. The knowledge is from a man named Swiftdeer, and he was an apprentice to Don Genero(also known as grandfather Tom TwoBears) If you want to check out further info www.DTMMS.org will let you know about the lineage etc. The book that I am writing most of this from is called Song of the Deer. It is a powerful book with many practical exercises..... And just the last thing that I have to add is that it is not a good idea to get a chiropractor to whack you to move your assem. point... the only reason DonJuan and Ruby could do it was that the have a high level of energy and intending so the point goes the right way!....

So In what I know there are 3 roads that the point can move down.

The red road (human road)
the yellow road(plant road)
and the blue road(animal road)

What we want is the good red road..... This road brings us down to enlightenment.
The red road has 11 stations. As the SAP(stationary assemblage point) moves from one station to the next we become more awake aware and alert. As we become more illuminated internally we are capable of seeing more externally. Each point has a very distinct and precise visual-auditory sence of reality.

It is a warriors intent to follow the good red road. At each point we can assemble bands of awareness into a unique and entirely different reality from others. We expand our awareness by increasing sobriety,by seeking knowledge,by feeding hungers,by stretching our potential to master the physical and so forth. When we do these things we can move from one point to the next.

The 11 points or"channels" are:
1: the point of confusion
at this point our perception of reality is heavily influenced by emotion or emotionality. The reality that we see here is often distorted and out of focus.

Point 2: The point of reason.
So point two is the point of reason.
It is this station that can put us in distraction and here we are normally in fantasy or illusion about life and ourselves. It is here that our reason becomes dogmatic and persistent, insisting that our reality is the only true reality. The limitation causes us to rationalize and define the world in very absolute terms. This place is highly addictive and people often get stuck in self righteousness here.It is easy to get stuck here because we feel secure and keep our views predictable.

Historically this point has been a major contributor to the movement away from individual autonomous freedom, and into religious conviction and beleif system. We cannot see our patterns when we are in this place. Ethnic genocide and religious conflict are the extreams of this point.

On the light side we can learn a spectrum of knowledge at this point. It is a good place to gather info. but very dangerous if we linger too long.

Point 3 The point of other worlds

This is a transition point where we develop many different points of view behond the sticky quagmire of our emotions and the ridgidity of our belief systems. We are on our way to hightened awareness, awakening to our natural self and accessing our higher self.

Point 4 the point of no concern (this is in a center place at the top of where the breasts are in the center....point 1,2,3 were off to your right.

When your assemblage point moves into this station you begin to know things without knowing how you know, and you increase your ability to hold many points of view at one time. You are now able to resolve paradox's for yourself and deal with dualities so that they are no longer dams across the stream of your livingness. At this point you exercise impeccale timing, and you have spun your spirit sheilds in front of you thus accessing their power. This is the first station where you enter hightened awareness, and it provides the leap for you to jump into the unknown. if you can get your AP into this stage you conquer the ememy of fear, you become fear less and bold, push your edge and expand your boundaries and move beyond your limitations. You engage with the unknown, for you know that here is where you can make quantum leaps in your evelution.Consequenttly you do things that defy description in normal reality.

*o.k..... I will keep going a little bit later.... I love this stuff.... so interesting... last time i was read by one of the teachers I was inbetween 3&4 with unconscious assemblage in 4&5. But when I am sick or depressed it moves back to 2 or if Im really bad 1... and I have gone down the blue road a couple times... (i'll write about this road later too)

If you want to find out where you are just sit still and go inside...and try to feel a little lazer like point of light. For those that "see" it is a little blue light stream like a lazer that will be at one of the stations. SAtation one starts above the breast close to the arm pit and two and three follow with four being in the center top of the breasts.
