I was wondering about this. When I read your first post on Sirius, I was groaning, "Darn, do I have to get up that early and go outside for it?"

*grin*

But here's an interesting little factoid. If my wife and I kiss outdoors, even under full cloud cover, we can always see where the sun is with our eyes closed, and we can feel the heat/energy/whatever radiating downward toward us, even if we couldn't perceive it through cloud cover (which we get a lot of here in the Seattle area...). We even perceive the same color.

We've tried kissing indoors, but we don't experience any perception of the solar position while indoors. As a result of this, I'm thinking there could be some magic to not having an artificial construct in the way.
