There are many different kinds of stones.
Cholesterol stones- 80% of all stones.These form when there is na imbalance between ratio ofcholesterol and bile salts.
Pigment stones- occures with in patients with haemolytic anaemia.
Calcium carbonate stones- are rare.
Over 70% stones remain clinically silent.
