Making your own bread rocks! by Ann Clare ..... Favorite "Healthy" Foods

I just began baking my own bread about 2 years ago. A friend donated a bread machine to me since she was buying a new one. I was hooked. But before long I wanted to do the entire process myself. Kneading dough is very therapeutic. And there's something very rewarding about making your own bread from scratch (in addition to smelling it bake and eating it).

I never eat the pre-sliced stuff anymore. Occasionally I'll buy bread from a local authentic French bakery or an artisanal loaf from the store, but only after scrutinizing the ingredients list to make sure it's free of sugars and hydrogenated oils.
