Hey Andy...you can post anywhere you want to...this is not a scolding! LOL...but you might get more responses about the Liver Flush if you post it on the Liver Flush Forum ...just a suggestion. ; )

The grapefruit juice simply helps you get the olive oil down easier...some flush recipes suggest lemon juice instead, but pink grapefruit will actually emulsify the oil so that it stays somewhat mixed together making it thinner, better tasting and easier to drink...other juices tend to stay separated from the oil and are taken after the oil to clear the oil out of your mouth. (One recipe I know of suggest that you take a swig of sherry...no juice!)
