Passing mucous and blood....pus is another possibility...suggests that there is some disease process present...possibly ulcerative colitis or Crohn's disease. I would stop the Colon Cleanse and also the salt water flushes, begin a soft easily-digested diet and see a doctor so that they can determine precisely what is going on. Cleansing would not create these conditions, but may have aggravated it if it has been lying dormant. It is always possible that the blood and mucous are coming from different sources....say a hemorrhoid that is bleeding and also clearing out a lot of toxic mucous....but to be on the safe side you need to have it checked out. Once you know what you are dealing with then there may be various treatment options you can take.
