quote : "they dont take more than they need" - about animals in nature.
Thats important - they never take more than they need because it will be a burden to them. They could not fly home to the nest with enough food for a week, they live and eat as they get hungry.
It seems humans do not have that sense. We burden ourselves with things that might make life easier, and instead we get bogged down in trying to have more and more of these things. We spend our lives earning earning earning, and saving it up for retirement. Instead, we could, as youth, support the elderly and expect that same support when we get old.
That way, there would BE MUCH MORE OF THE THINGS WE NEED AT ALL TIMES. If we didn't put so much energy into getting more than we need NOW, and hope to save it for later, we would have a much better life. Fear, really, is what is driving that savings. We do not want to trust others to be ther for us, even though we would gladly do it right now for others.
This is the mindset the Industrialists want us to have. It allows them to contol us, to get us to do what they want, and to get us from attaining a better life where our needs are met simply because we care.
Inequality erases all the goodness in a human culture.
