After reading article upon article about the devastating effects of Aspartame I quit just like that. But, to my surprise and delima a few days after quiting I started to have numerous Sugar cravings each day. Some days are just awful. I am Type 11(insulin resistance) diabetic and connot afford all this sugar. I also starting zapping one week ago. Do Sugar cravings have anything to do with getting off of Aspartame or zapping? Today I felt like a hard core junky trying to stay off something. If I understood what is going on within me it would be easier to cope with it.
