Well, since I've never made over $30,000 I've never had to pay a lot of health care. Mostly Zero! Now, my boyfriend and I combined pay only $21 (for both of us) a month. I'm in B.C.

I never go to the doctor...but years ago I did have to have some tests and did have a stay in the hospital..and I didn't have to pay anything.

I, personally, am glad that I don't have to think about 'should I risk it....or pay insurance' (in the States I'd be too poor to buy 'insurance' and I wouldn't want to anyway)...I don't like the idea of insurance! ha. And I don't think of the monthly fee here as Insurance..more just something we have to pay every month, to contribute to the country's Health Plan. (I'M taking care of my health!)

Anyway, I'm just rambling....
