Perhaps this will enlighten you or further your case. The University of
Nebraska - Lincoln, has a Mid Eastern study department. It may have been established
specifically for the furtherance of Unocals' desire to build the pipeline through
territory controlled by the Taliban. Anyway, Taliban VIPs were brought to Nebraska
in order to sway them (or orientate them) to American ways. One
of the most popular tours was "The Mall of America" with credit cards covered by by Unocal
or the US goverment. True story.
