I heard on the radio today that he passed away.
After a terrible accident, Dr. Robert Atkins who remained comatose from a head injury he suffered when he slipped on a patch of morning ice outside his New York office last week.
You may know him as the pioneer of the healthy low-carbohydrate diet that's just lately being given its due after 30 long years.
