It's very late here and I have have to get to bed.

I will do my best to write again tomorrow and give more details.
Just briefly, I needed to stop the long bouts of diarrhoea where I felt defenseless against them.

I was only eating extremely bland food, dried out because my system just refused to handle the moisture. IBS of course means that there is already a problem of excess fluid. I started taking the Intestinal Formula #2. Not even the full teaspoon dose, just half a teaspoon or so, because I was hesitant to drink that much water! It began to help pretty quickly. I took that every AM.
I also bulk up my meals with bran, wheat, oats etc. anything that absorbs; but I'm managing to eat moderate amounts of fats again.

Of course it's very NB to keep away from junkfood and deserts. At the moment if I go off the IF2 for a few days things start to "loosen up" again, but one dose gets me back on track. It is amazing stuff! Really, try it! I wish you the same success. I am slowly gaining up the wieght-scales in the gym again, and eating foods which I couldn't eat 2,5 months ago is marvellous. I wish I'd found the IF products years ago.
