in fact it is not a very clear passage, maybe I was getting tired.
It was an extension of what he had said on just being oneself. He means that one could like to be compact, as before he had said that being compact favours change (intending being compact as being unconditioned), but one cannot be compact by will. One has to be just honest, and just be, beyond its judgement of what is right and wrong. Somehow innocence is more alligned than righteousness, it is more vehicolating change.
