Hi.. I was just after anyone's advice. I very frequently get feelings of being in a dream, and that where I am, or what I am doing is very surreal. Its so hard for me to explain, but I feel disconnected from people a lot of the time.

I mentioned it to my GP who said he is concerned as this is a sign of mental illness/depression...

I am not really depressed, although I do feel sad sometimes because I feel like I ca not connect with anyone on the same wave length as me.

Does anyone understand what I mean by the dreamlike and surrreal feelings? It's so weird, sometimes it feels nice, and even comforting... like life is just a ride, or as CS Lewis said 'All this is but shadowlands'. I am sure you guys will not think I am mental....
