I do not know the books of the christian Bible (there are others not to be dismissed) to mention the number 144000 in direct connection with the word Astrology or Astronomy. If this is a (or the) reason for you to stop any further examinations here, you're done and this thread is almost over. If you would like to obtain further knowledge on how to see the connection, just ask. Consider that the Bible from the view of a scientist is a ciphered voulume from a library, that has other books. If you think, in this special point, everything must be reasoned without any other book or material, you are done. God does not know any coincidence. He has a good reason for why 144000 divided by 66.6 results in a 12th of the precession cycle of the earth axis of about 26000 years. This is the cycle that goes around the big dragon, also from the Revelation, the sign of Draco at the celestial north pole, that is as a symbol enslaved by the calendar counting of days and free for some time after the time (the calendric time), where the calendrations are recalibrated to nature and a new time (calendric time) is born. You can read the verses about the Woman, Rev 12. The woman with the 12 Stars (yes, really the word "Stars") above her head is the sign of Virgo. Really 12 stars are above Virgo in the shape of a crown. You can see and count them with a naked eye in a good night. All the constellations are clearly associated directly with certain hebrew letters in the Jewish traditions. Especially in the book named Sepher Yetzirah, that is technically interconnected with the Torah and that is a mathematical and spiritual key to the Bible. The connections are not lost with the new testament. Just the same pictures are used there . F.e. whenever the Bible reads about a goat, a ram or so, almost always the star signs of that figures are meant and you find the typical motion time of planets placed as verse intervals from where something is promised in the text until it is described as really happening in the text. Of course you need a funded knowledge of these motional times and their typical figures to judge this. A christian maybe cannot comprehend that, because he is enslaved by the chains of mindboggling misbeliefs. You can shrink yourself into them or you can go higher and the greater picture. Read Gen 15.5: "can you count the stars?". It doesn't read, that the Israelites will be so much that they cannot be counted (like oen may conclude when thinking about counting the stars). It does read that they will be just as many as stars are there. And the Israelites became 12 tribes, just as there are 12 stars above the head of the woman in Rev 12 and as really are above the sign of Virgo. This is just a minor clue of what's really there.

Israel was a tribe of astronomers. The underlying system starts relatively easy. The number of Israelites is 603550 in the book of numbers. This is about the number of letters in two Torahs. These two Torahs have about 11700 verses all together (the time from the end of Atlantis till today), where that or 11666 solar years are about 12000 lunar years. The Hebrew word for "year" has the gematric value 355 of the number of days in a lunar year. The Jewish calendar is based prior on the lunar year, not the solar year. Each tribe is an age in the cycle of precession. Each age has it's own Torahs (so the Talmud) that lasts for 12000 lunar years (example shown prior in this thread). 12 of these are nested so that their sum is 144000. In Malkuth every age last only about 144000 divided by 66.6 (Abram, who dies next the 666th verse of the Bible, gives away his tenth part after Melchizedek appeared in verse 355, the lunar year, after the 13th lunar month of the kings of Edom, who are conjunctions of planets Jupiter and Saturn). Further research is required to get it clear.
