Internet search on "dissolve" and "gallstone" came back with article on Product Name: Medstone STS™ Lithotripter --- conventional medicine I know, but I sure don't understand how they determine who a good candidate is!

Here's what the site says:::

""When should it not be used?
This treatment should not be used in patients who:
1) have blood clotting disorders or are taking blood thinning medication,
2) are pregnant,
3) have cardiac arrhythmias (abnormal heart rhythms) or use a pacemaker,
4) have a gallstone that cannot be seen with ultrasound or x ray,
5) have a non-functioning gallbladder,
6) have a calcified gallstone,
7) have a bile duct stone,
8) have significant liver disease, or
9) are unable or unwilling to take Actigall® for the prescribed period of time. ""

So if I have Gallstones that don't show up on ultrasound (meaning they aren't calcified, right?), this procedure isn't recommended.
But if I DO have a calcified stone (that shows up on ultrasound) then again, I'm not a candidate.

So my question... who IS a candidate for this procedure?
Thanks for helping me understand -- even if I do choose my GCG to this procedure!!! :)
