have you considered giving them a drink that you choose for your child? and insisting that as parents you have that right.

then maybe you could have him given fresh juice in a thermos..etc?

also i am sure you must know already , but in case you don't,
Dr. Vinogard works extensively with autistic children,
and may have some wonderfully helpful info to share with you

I am appalled that anyone would give any child a diet soda to start with for ANY reason!
aspartame and its counterparts immediately and drastcially affect me.. giving me tremors/ body shakes the whole deal..

i hope they recognise the high degree of responsibility they have towards your child with anything they give him.

and hope it will not happen to him again ..
