Well, it's pretty typical here for companies to require new hires to take and pass drug tests as a condition of employment.
At the factory where my sister works, all the workers names are put into a 'lottery', and whoseever name gets drawn has to take a test. It is their goal to drug test all of their employees at least once a year, but--as they will put your name directly back into the 'lottery' once you have been tested--it is concievable that one employee can go the whole year without being tested, while another is tested twice in that same year.
I'm not sure if it is typical for all people on probation to be drug tested.
If the cops pull you over in Texas, they suspect you of being under the influence of alcohol and/or illeagal drugs, and ask you to take a breathalizer test, you must take it. If you do not, you must take another type of test to determine blood alcohol content. If you refuse to take some sort of test to determine blood alcohol content, in Texas it is considered admission of guilt under the law, and you will be prosecuted accordingly.
Anyone giving blood or blood parts.
Anyone volunteering their services as a guinea pig in a medical research study. (My Bro made 5000 bux in a month doing that.)
I can't remember any more at the moment. Drugs are considered a very big deal here. Most of the people I know over the age of 35 in Texas seem to think that marijuana is a 'gateway drug', and that the government has to protect us from it.
