When I first got into herbs, I took Comfrey capsules all the time. It wasn't until I heard about problems, did I see that there might be complications. One of the greatest things to rebuild bone is live foods!!!!! Use comfrey root externally as a poultice. But I agree, cleansing the liver and the bowels is paramount to taking comfrey root internally.
