So, are you bashing me?

I wonder what would happen if someone said,

"I'd be a Budist, if it weren't for the Budists'"

or

"I'd be Muslim if it weren't for the Muslims'"

Get my point.

The joke was funny, not offensive. It actually makes a point. But I don't see why you have to group all Christians with a few bad apples. Like the saying goes:

"A few bad apples, doesn't make the whole bunch rotten"
