How do you know it's not candida? Sounds loke it to me.

Also you said you were eating lot of sweet fruits that feeds yeast and makes you bloated. I had same problem when eating apples and other fruits. So I ate them at the evening when it wouldn't matter as much. It took me about a week before I wouldn't get bloated. I thing initially the body takes time to make the enzymes and stuff needed to digest a type of food that you don't normally eat. The more you eat something the better the body gets at digesting it. Same thing with fats and protiens. Since your body did not break down the food completely it wound up being food for bacteria and yeast. It's this bacteria and yeast that produce co2 and other gasses as by products that is giving you the bloated carbonated feeling. I still can't believe that some doctors acually think that we get gas by swallowing air!

>alakalizing effect of raw foods

I by the way am not a believer of a pure raw food regimen. Been there done that. However I do believe you sould have some raw vegies at every major meal. I prefer greens like spinach and so. I also squeeze fresh lemon on my meat and veggies. I also belive in vary my meat(Beef, chicken, tuna, crab, salmon, turkey, eggs, etc) and using only the highest quality only.(kosher or organic- no natrates and fast food meats). I believe that the best source of complete protien can only derived from meat or animal products. Complete protien is necessary for your body to repair itself. If you insist on vegetarian you would have to combine seeds nuts and legumes to get a complete source. This is what Indians do - too difficult for me though. I still don't think its as good as meat.
I don't think that yeast can utilize meat and fats for food. In fact most fats contain antifungal and antibacterial properties.

By the way the reason we cook vegetables is to make them easier to digest and so we can eat things we normally we not be able to eat. Oh it also kills some bugs too.

Like I said before anytime you change your dietary habits there is some changeover period. Be mindfull of that.

take care,
Venk
