I believe diet alone will never be sufficient to eradicate Candida, if you really got Candida.

Candida is a yeast overgrowth, or a form of yeast. When that happens, the yeast cells stick to the intestinal walls. In severe or chronic cases, these yeast cells become fungus like and grow "roots" into the walls. Once the walls are punctured, it allows "matters" such as undigested food particles, protein, etc to get into the blood from the GI tract. It triggers the body's immune system in the blood to counter these foreign bodies. This leads to allergies, etc. - now commonly called "Leaky Gut Syndrome".

In the above instance, I doubt diet will be able to "remove" or clear the fungal yeast from the intestinal walls? What you need is therefore friendly bacteria that are colonizing - probiotics. These bacterium can themselves attach to the intestinal walls and prise loose the fungal yeast for the body to expel. One of the reasons for lots of water! The friendly bacteria also "crowd" out the yeast from repopulating the system as a good probiotic is an antifungal itself.

In addition, a good probiotic has organic acids which assist in food digestion and subsequent absorption. That helps nourish the body and in turn boost the immune system and eliminate a lot of problems associated with digestion and malnutrition.

Take care
