I have done this on one occasion, I think it is a good idea to tell the second Doctor that you have been to see a previous doctor for the same condition, tell him everything, symptoms, advice that you got etc, also tell him that you may go on to see other specialists they should understand and if they don't then thats how you can tell you shouldn't be seeing that particular doctor...hope this helps
