i don't know if it means that it's drying, but i know that it's true: i was taking tiny sulfur pills internally for skin and also noticed that it made my body smell a bit. it's not terrible or anything, but there is something in the way how sulfur acts in the body and come out through pores...
actually, my new policy -- is to AVOID overdrying. read " Acne cure" book by dubrow -- it has a good explantion why washing it too much is bad (as well as many other useful things).
