I have tried retin-a in the past and found the side effects to be awful. The redness, peeling and irritation were too much. Also, it does make your skin worse after about 2-3 weeks before it gets better. It brings out all the waiting Acne under the skin. I cannot use it at all anymore. Also, watch the sun! It will burn your skin much faster while using retin-a.
