I'd suggest that you check with the company that makes it. Call them or send them an email, and ask how is the brush supposed to be cleaned (can you soak it or not). Take my advice! I soaked my skin-brush in water a while back, and it was ruined! The wood cracked in half, the bristles became hard, and my whole bathroom smelled like cooked cabbage, lol. I contacted the manufacturer, and they said i shouldn't soak it. They said if i wanted to clean it, i should use a damp cloth.
