Thanks for everyone's advice on this matter. This is a very supportive community :-)

This morning I tried a coffee enema, as recommended by the Arise & Shine program when you really aren't feeling well. It helped me get rid of my first bits of mucoid plaque (yahoo!) and it made me feel a lot better within the hour. The canker sores are still there, but they seem to be in remission.

I will continue to update to let everyone know what ended up helping with my particular "healing crisis." Blessings to all.
