The Magnetic Pulser creates a magnetic field that is northfaceing and biostimulative.Your meter is not discerning if this is good or bad just that it is putting out an EMF. The research is all there on the benefits of northface magnetic energy. Sota's website can give you more info. GOOGLE search should provide it as well. I have gotten excellent results using the MPG5 for pain reduction and healing.
