So.. I am struggling for an answer here. I had taken the 'prescribed' method a few times for pinworms and the symptoms went away for a maximum of 5 days, then returned slowly over the next week. I am also sure that I probably recontaminated myself, as I was not very aware of the de-contamination requirements! I got very frustrated, tho, as I have this problems for 3 years, and doctors tend to shrug and shake their heads when I mention my symptoms, figuring, it must be pinworms, and if this treatment didnt work, well, you're just not bathing enough down there..


So I have been cleansing on and off for 3 months, and my symptoms do much improve but do not disappear and as soon as I eat Sugar or flour, they return quickly. I have thought a lot about taking the pharmacuetical stuff again, especially if all the cleanses don't work (i'm trying to be more strict than ever at this point, but it feels like a long uphill battle). From your advice, I am reconsidering.. Yet still very confused and wary!! do you know of any possible side effects from this treatment (the blue pill)? What is your experience? Just trying to get an idea--I also have candida symptoms so I don't want to just "wreak havoc" on my biota with an antibiotic.

Anyway, I appreciate your advice and always read your comments on this forum.. I feel really desparate for advice on this issue, as it is my main health problem and I am otherwise in a fairly good state and feel healthy. It's just these worms and the itching.. to have this for so long is really worrying me.

Please respond, if you can. I am going to try now to keep as clean as possible and maybe continue the cleansing for another few weeks or so, but if you really think that the pill will do relatively little harm, I would like to consider using it at that point. I normally take no Antibiotics or other drugs, basically because I feel no need to and do not want to worry about side effects. But I really need to kick this infestation!
